Inquisitive Minds still wondering

I asked my 5 year old the same questions a fellow blogger were asked here...here are his responses to the questions.

"How did the water get in the ocean?" (Dinosaurs stepped making a big hole and then it rained for Noah and made the ocean.)

"Why did Jesus make sharks?" (uhm. . .I don't know.)

"Where does blood come from?" (our bodies.)

"How do they make cars?" (Them get all the materials and a screwdriver and follow the map)

"Where do parrots live?" (what are parrots? Oh...maybe on a farm.)

I wonder what my 6 year old would say.......

A week of Benjaminisms

Things overheard from my 5-year old this week

"I hear that there is a new copy of me coming out soon"

"What about I can do it because I got a library card?"

"Yuck! and I say YUCK! again"

"You are the bestest most nicest mama on the whole earth! Can I have some milk now?"

"On snowy days it is a good time to paint, dontchathink?"

"Let's make a cookie that nobody has ever tasted before"

and to tie it all up we sent this off to NASA Friday evening....

Dear NASA Officials,

My 5 year old son, Benjamin, was looking in his outerspace camera and he saw a comet headed straight to our earth. Could you please have the astronauts stop the comet before it hits the earth.

Thank you Very Much

Their customer service is remarkable because it wasn't too long before we received this reply back:

Dear concerned citizen,

Please let Benjamin know that the comet he saw, is safely flying past Earth. We have adjusted it's heading, to safely fly into outer space. Tell Benjamin thanks for watching the skies, but that he can be well assured that we are always here to keep everyone safe.

Sincerely,

Mike
